reality check

I took an old friend to the airport today who I met my first year at Utah State. She brought up the point how crazy my life is! Here we are 6 1/2 years after we left the dorms when our freshmen year was over, and I have been married for 5 years and have 2 kids! I am totally a mom now and I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful family. I can't even express the love I feel for them and am so excited for the years to come!

Fall

This is probably my favorite time of year in Utah! It is so beautiful here when the leaves change colors and the mountains look amazing. This picture is from one of our canyon drives we took over conference weekend. We live in such a beautiful place!

Brooklyn turns 3!

Brooklyn had a Strawberry Shortcake birthday just like I did when I turned 3! We just celebrated with some family, but it was very nice and Brooklyn loved it. She especially liked her pink cupcakes with pink frosting and her Strawberry Shortcake balloon that her Grandpa gave her.

We decided this was the first year Brooklyn would be able to appreciate the pumpkin carving part of Halloween. For family night we went to the pumpkin patch (in our friend's backyard) and picked one pumpkin for each person in our family. We went home and got to work. Brooklyn and Tim carved the pumpkins and Tallan took a nap while I picked out all the seeds to roast. They are so yummy! We had a great family night!
