Nothing but Fun!

Keslie's first 3 weeks of life have been extremely exciting in our family! Here is our month in review...

A trip to Hurricane to visit Grandma, Val and her family, and GG

As we were getting ready to leave Hurricane, Brooklyn decided to give herself another haircut...guess she didn't learn the first time! So, she has bangs again as well as some other random layers throughout the rest of her hair.

Brooklyn graduated preschool! I'm so proud of her! They sang some really cute songs for the parents to show us that she did actually learn something this year even though every day we ask her what she did at preschool she says, "I don't know" or "I don't remember". One more year of preschool until kindergarten. I can't believe how old she is getting!

We went to a little party for a neighbor's birthday. What do you get for an adult on their birthday??? I looked everywhere for fun gift ideas but only found some for Christmas. My sister finally told me about this one. "Pop! Pop! Fizz! Fizz! Oh what a Happy Birthday it is!" (Attach popcorn and soda to card) If anyone else knows of any cute ideas, I would LOVE to know about them!

My first cookie decorating attempt, and I'm kind of proud at how they turned out. They were really yummy too! I need a lot of practice, but this is going to be a fun hobby for me!

Avery and Brooklyn "Jeepin" in Huntsville at the Holt's house. Isn't it absolutely beautiful?! We had a great visit with Laurel and her family Memorial Weekend while they were here from NY. The kids are SO cute and really enjoy playing with each other.

What would we do without a visit from The Whitfords? So glad they decided to make the looong roadtrip for the weekend! These kids can never get enough of each other. Before they came over on Memorial Day, Brooklyn asked me, "Mom, after I grow up and marry Parker, will I be a Grandma?" She also made sure to wear her favorite "butterfly shirt" that she is going to wear when she marries him. Cute!

Last but not least, some of my favorites from Keslie's first photo shoot. Here she is at 2 1/2 weeks old. Amber and I had way too much fun with this, but the little princess would not cooperate and go to sleep for us, so we'll be trying again soon. Is she not just so adorable though?! I love that face of hers!

Guess that's about it for now, but there's always more to come...

Funny about the school thing... Parker never tells us what he learned at school. I too hope that he learned something.

How was your first day back to work? Probably relaxing!

Whatever happened to relaxing and adjusting after you have a baby? I'm impressed! Non stop fun there...wish we could join you. Kylee is always looking for entertainment and I definitely think Brooklyn would help provide it. I can't believe she cut her hair again oh and Keslie's pictures are darling.

We've missed you guys! We need to get together soon. It has been too long, which is silly because we live next door to each other. Keslie is darling. And I think Brooklyn did a great job with her hair. Maybe that is her calling in life...hair stylist! Anyways, hopefully we can get together soon and catch up!

Reading all that you've done since having a baby 3 weeks ago makes me feel like I was super lazy after having Bridget. And your cookies look amazing!
